 | | | Giorgos Sepetzoglou: Objects of Scultpture & Tasos Dimos Exhibition (05/05/2008 - ) | Girgos Sepetzoglou was born in Athens. He studied design and decoration in Greece, along with Mitaras, Georgiadis and Lomberdos. Later in Paris, he found the new aesthetical stimulants within the current tendencies of fine arts. Returning to Greece, he worked on designing and forming objects from materials such as clay and bronze, developing his personal artistic style, mainly influenced by Cycladic Art.
The Objects of Scultpture include:
Sculptured forms and symbols, items for everyday use.
Images and dreams that George Sepetzoglou has created and formed with clay.
Cast in bronze or aluminium.
Tinted bronze, corroded iron, ceramic touches...
... forgotted art, withstanding time
Tasos Dimos was born in Athna in 1960. He was a student of G. Vakirtzi. After studies at AKST , the artist continued his education at Hochule der Kunste of Berlin, Germany.
The Artist of the Earth and the Sky
With the first look the work of Tasos Dimos reveals its interweaving with his mental world. This fact gives us opportunity to exploit the hidden goods of his work, for which creation the artist put a great effort in.
The subjects of his work are simple as well as modest and selective putting as a basic rule of work the sentimental approach of the lowest tones of nature and human substance. | | | | |
